Satin Doll Corset PLUS.

While I'm aware that "real" corsets run in the hundreds, there was nothing but satin paneling and a flimsy under paneling to make this cinch and it looks cheap even for the price. It also has the little round eyelets running around the edges that underwear has, you can't see that in the picture and I'm not very fond of that part of the design personally as it makes it look more like a big bra and less like a *corset.*
I'm glad I wasn't planning on using the g-string, because the fabric that is made out of is down right uncomfortable. I just threw that away.
The fit was fine, if anything a bit big. The corset was alright for my purpose, or I thought so until I wore it once, to the party I bought if for, and the satin part came out from the boning. One of the reasons why I had bought a corset as a part of my outfit was so I could reuse it with other outfits - and now that's not an option. Even if I get it fixed it won't look as nice or be able to cinch as well (not that it could cinch that great before).

This is was a Christmas Present from one of My beloved clients. It fits really beautifully right out of the box. I have to say I am about as impressed with this corset as any I have ever worn. You see these ads for PVC and other shiny materials and when it gets to u it is flimsy and cheap this is actually a NICE NICE PIECE. If a size sometimes fits you big order the next size down. It fits pretty true to size but you want to take advantage of that stretch for it to have a nice tight fit.

Here is a few reasons why this is now My favorite corset:

1. The material is stretchy yet holds its form.

2. There is adequate boning all the way around.

3. 4 detachable garters adds versatility.

4. The pink ribbon can be replaced with pretty much anything! Thin chain, ribbons, braided real hair, whatever! To be able to customize the front lacing without the problem of support which the back laces cover lends you soooo many choices. The pink ribbon is a beautiful contrast but so would many other colors and things like say mardi gras beads =-)~

5. They used this nice thick cord rather than thin lacing and it really holds in place nice and securely. It made it a lot easier to lace up on My own in a pinch for a cam show or private session. This cord is long enough that you need only one cord! They really hooked this lacing up both front and back this AWESOME. They did not add cheap accessories to this nice piece they did it right from top to bottom good for them!

6. I found the boxing and packaging a bit informal just a plastic bag but wow once you get inside that bag you have a real gem on your hands.

7. I am an AMAZON 6 ft barefoot so the LONG torso was quite a welcome surprise. It might be too long for someone with a short torso. You could let it ride your hips though.

They're bad quality----it's material that isn't really made for mobility even though it's stretchy. It's just very thick and the lace ups are cheap and don't stay even. They don't keep up on my legs. I have a nice figure, but they're not really made for to fit thighs that are different from the picture. They just simply do not work. Do not think that this corset is just a costume piece that only looks like a corset... it really is one! I followed their sizing chart and "broke in" my corset as they recommended, and I was pretty amazed (and very pleased) by the results. It took me about three stints of wearing it to get it to the point where the lacing in the back was tight enough for the flap of vinyl (which goes underneath the lacing) to reach the opposite side (so as to not expose any of the dress I was wearing beneath it), but it wasn't bad at all. It just took me that long to get my body used to having a smaller waist - because YES, this corset will make your waist smaller... and you'll develop a newfound respect for Scarlett O'Hara! I took my waist down only 5 inches (please note that I am a fairly athletic person and there isn't a lot of... um... "malleable material" to squish out of the way), and felt that it was more than sufficient for my costume. FYI - this item was purchased in black vinyl for Halloween (to complete a Betty Page ensemble) and while I wouldn't say that I had the best costume that night, I was definitely in the top 3. Maybe even 2.

The cool thing about this corset is that even though it may take you about 5-10 minutes to get laced up (it's definitely faster if you have someone to help!) - you can get that thing off in about 2 seconds. So if anyone is worried that they will feel claustraphobic after getting laced in, rest assured that you can escape in no time at all. Just don't let anyone jokingly unzip you - otherwise it'll take another 5-10 minutes to lace yourself in again. :P

I felt this item was definite worth what I paid for it. It is well made and quite durable (considering how much it gets yanked around just when you are putting it on) and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. And did I mention that their shipping was much faster than I expected?
